Best TV Commercial Series

I hate commercials. They're boring, cheesy, and simply a waste of my time. But occasionally, some companies will break through with a series of pleasant ads that almost make the other 99% of commericals bearable. These refreshing ads are creative, funny, and generally easy to follow. Budweiser, the King of Beers, used to reign supreme over this kind of marketing. The old Budweiser frogs gave way to the talking chameleons, who then stepped aside for the infamous "WASSUP" commercials. Eventually, we enjoyed Bud Light's "Real Men of Genius" series as Miller Lite tried to compete with their own laughable commericals. The Bud Light vs. Miller Lite commercials were decent, but they ultimately were the beginning of the end for the beer industry's dominance over entertaining ads. We no longer look to Anheuser-Busch with great anticipation to make us laugh on Super Bowl Sunday. Yes, the tables have turned, but change is good. A new generation of likeable ads is before us. Geico has seemed to replace Budweiser as the most creative company with its witty Cavemen dramas and the classic Geico gecko. Apple has replaced the Bud Light vs. Miller Lite duel with its clever PC vs. Mac series. Most recently, Cingular's partnership with AT&T has seemingly paid off in the marketing department with its comical scenarios in the "Fewest Dropped Calls" campaign. The common element that all these commercials possess is that they have recurring themes, characters, or scenarios--which is necessary to be classified as a series. We're not talking about a single commercial here. So, with that being said, I want to know what you guys think is the best commercial series out there. Is it one I've mentioned already? Or is there another one, such as the Sonic guys series? Or maybe even the AFLAC duck series? You tell me. I'm out.

hey, i can finally leave a comment for you. well, we pretty much chatted on this today and i already asked the questions that i had on my mind. so.. from your talking and descriptions, i can picture these ads on my mind and perhaps you're really gd at describing, so i find these ads kinda interesting and funny~ i like the duck (cute) and the talking chameleons which is as cute!
the ads here locally can be kind of boring sometimes, and doesn't bring out any meaning.. >.< but the DiGi commercial series which i told u today really works its wonder. the yellow people represents "DiGi network" follows the client everywhere they go (up to the mountain and down to the sea, kidding), which is really interesting.
but i don't like the ads much.. coz whatever depicted in the ads aren't always real. i like to look at the ads (coz it's always glitzy and glamour) but i don't always like the msg they send. it was like "you have got to have this product", "the best one around" so and so.. which is so unreal~ and making us into believing that we need such product, which in actual it is just false needs.. something we don't really need to have..
i've written too much for now, until next time. looking forward for your 2nd blog. :)

p/s:after i clicked on the picture, it doesn't link to any video~~~
